Presenting: Latifa

Good god, she's done!
I wove in the last end one night last week, but haven't had a chance to take pictures until now. It took me as many days to plod through all the end-weaving as it did to knit this scarf, I think. Each color block had four ends to weave (end of color, start of color, start of ruffle, end of ruffle). I'm really happy with the result... I just wish I had been quicker at finishing her!

Yarn: Garnstudio Silke-Tweed, Colors 03 Red, 15 Pink, 05 Navy and 10 Gray. Ruffles: Koigu PPM (I've lost the tag so I can't say which color).
Purchased from: the Yarn Barn (most of it) and Threadbear (the pink silke-tweed)
Needles: US3 Crystal Palace bamboo straights.
Size: 6" x 72"
Comments: This took me a lot longer than I expected, but the pattern was pretty straightforward and highly memorizable. The silke-tweed has a real rough, scrunchy hand that is unlike any of my other scarves, so I'm excited to have something new and different in my closet. It's not a heavy scarf for winter weather, but a great three-season accessory.
