Thanks, Yarn Fairy

I know you've all been waiting with bated breath about my Clapotis. Wait no more -- your yarn fairies came through wonderfully! Here is the completed, full-size Clapotis.

It is taller than I am.

That's 10 oz. of "Regular" from Inspirations Yarn, in the Casual Friday colorway. Here I am showing it off at Knit Happens, where Clapotis is spreading faster than.... (insert your own Clap-themed punchline here.)

I want to keep it for myself!

(Thanks, Holly, for being such a sweet photographer!)

And the yarn? Oh yeah, the yarn. There were mere inches of it left over.

and not many inches, either.

After casting off, I jumped off the couch, did a little jig of joy, and shouted this:

yarn cursive!

A good experience, all in all. Clapotis gets a bath this weekend, then she'll be off to make grandma's life a little warmer. Thanks to everyone who sent me good thoughts and a yarn fairy -- it worked!

Have a good weekend!
